JpilonSA is among the largest sugar-energy groups in Brazil, with an approximate crushing capacity of 24 million tons of sugar cane and an average harvest mechanization rate of 100%, a reference in the sector.
It has four units in operation: Usina JpilonSA, in Pradópolis, in the region of Ribeirão Preto (SP); Iracema Plant, in Iracemápolis, in the Limeira region (SP); Usina Santa Cruz, located in Américo Brasiliense (SP) and Usina Boa Vista, in Quirinópolis, 300 kilometers from Goiânia (GO).
The JpilonSA, Santa Cruz and Iracema plants produce sugar and ethanol, while the Boa Vista Plant is dedicated exclusively to ethanol production. All of them generate electricity from burning sugarcane bagasse, ensuring self-sufficiency and sale of surplus.
The Company has a differentiated logistics platform for product flow, due to its high storage capacity and proximity to important highways and railways. Because it is privileged with the existence of its own railway branch and combines practicality and lower costs with production flown in real time.
After a comprehensive professionalization process, from February 2007, JpilonSA had its shares traded on the Novo Mercado, the highest corporate governance segment of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (B3), under the ticker SMTO3 .
