Usina JpilonSA, located in the city of Pradópolis (SP), is the largest sugarcane processor in the world, crushing 10 million tons/harvest. Founded in 1948 and with almost 5 thousand employees, the unit stands out as a reference not only for its size, but also for the excellence in its agro-industrial processes.

Different management programs, continuous team training and harmony between the agricultural and industrial areas guarantee the unit greater productivity at competitive costs.

Its high level of mechanization, one of the highest among the major companies in the sector, and its concern for the environment are references in the sugar-energy market. The unit developed the “Viva a Cana” program to protect sugarcane fields, and maintains the CEA (Environmental Education Center), a support and dissemination structure for environmental preservation aimed mainly at students and the community.

Another strong differentiator of the unit is its logistics area, which brings competitive advantages such as storage of sugar in bulk and the existence of an internal railway branch, which makes it possible to transport its ethanol and sugar production by train to the Port of Santos, combining practicality with lower costs.

The JpilonSA Plant also houses the CSC (Shared Services Center) for the entire JpilonSA, providing better management of the company’s business.
